All we have is now.
“If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right"
Hey hey.
I hope this meets you well.

All we have is now is a simple reminder that this is life. This is it. Are you being who you want to be? Doing what you want to do?
The past has gone & you can't change it. The future isn't promised. All we have is now - the present. What are you doing with it?
📖 What I'm reading;
(Article) - Being creative is hard. I read this article The Art of Stealing: How to Become a Master Designer and found it super insightful.
(Book) - I'm currently reading the The 12 Week Year by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington. I'm really interested in learning how to 10x when it comes to executing.
(Article) - What to Do When You Have Too Many Ideas and Not Enough Time. This is something I've always struggled with and this article brought me a lot of clarity.
🎧What I’m listening to;
This is a great episode that gives a good shift in perspective for you as a Muslim. It also somehow ties to the core idea of this week's OTL podcast episode. What does an Islamic self-development framework look like? It's so easy to get lost in the “self-development” cycle that having a framework like is mentioned in this episode, grounds you.
🎥 What I’m watching;
I discovered Andrew Huberman this year and he's fast becoming one of my favourite online people to listen to. I'm deep into this interview The Science of Peak Performance .
Another video is this TEDx Talk by BJ Fogg titled “Forget big change, start with a tiny habit “. BJ is a behavioural scientist at Stanford where he directs research and innovation. BJ’s Stanford students have gone on to co-found Instagram so you know that this man really knows his onions when it comes to behavior design.
🧠 Core Idea; “All we have is now”
In this week's episode of the podcast, I ramble a lot about death and how we don't have as much time as we think we do. This is particularly for my Muslim audience.
Listen on:
🤔 What I’m pondering on;
Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

📝 Journalling Prompt;
“If today was the last day of your life, would you want to do what you’re about to do today?”
Ideally, you journal your answer to this every morning.
Thank you for reading, I hope you find this beneficial.
